Relationships

There is perhaps nothing in the realm of human experience more important than our relationship to others. We are, by our very nature relational beings and the quality of our relationships has a direct impact on our sense of wellbeing. Few things can upset us more than difficult interactions with others. While this can often occur with those closest to us such as immediate family members, significant others or extended family, we can also be effected adversely by the people we encounter at work or in public. Our ability to navigate the landscape of human interaction has a direct impact on our sense of self and place in the world. Psychotherapy can help us to sort out our feelings and motivations in relationships and learn new ways to interact that lead to more satisfying outcomes.
